Meet our FW26 Collection
Fall has entered the chat.
And apparently, she’s hungry.
For FW26, we found inspiration in all the little things that make the season feel so good: a glass of red wine with dinner, olives on the table, warm brownstones in New York, rich earthy tones, glossy lips and that first evening when it gets dark just a little too early.
The result is six new Gel Polish shades that feel unmistakably fall, without falling into the usual autumn colour clichés.
There’s a juicy berry jelly. A warm, creamy brown. The brick red we want to wear with everything. A muted mauve inspired by Kalamata olives. A deep aubergine that sparkles like the night sky. And because every moody fall palette needs a little breathing room, the sheer rosy neutral we already know is going to live on your nails.
Consider this your first taste of FW26.
The FW26 Collection launches September 17 at 12 PM EST.
Six shades, one very good fall wardrobe
This collection was designed almost like a fall wardrobe for your nails.
Some days call for something barely there and glossy. Others require a dark manicure, a glass of wine and plans after 7 PM.
FW26 does both.
The palette moves from sheer and luminous to warm, earthy and deliciously deep, with different textures along the way. Creamy opaques sit next to a translucent jelly and a subtle micro-shimmer, so the collection feels cohesive without six colours doing the exact same thing.
Now, the important part. Meet the shades.
Lip Balm: your no-makeup manicure
If glossy lips, dewy skin and no-makeup makeup had a nail colour, it would be Lip Balm.
This soft, semi-sheer rosy shade gives the nails that naturally luminous, healthy-looking finish that makes people wonder if your nails are just… like that.
The colour is buildable, so two coats keep things delicate and barely there, while a third gives the rose a little more presence. Wear it alone when you want something clean and glossy, or treat it like the perfect neutral canvas for shimmer and nail art.
Basically, your nails, but after a really good skincare routine.
The mood: cashmere, lip gloss, fresh skin, Sunday morning.
Portobello: the brown of the season
Brown for fall? Yes. But hear us out.
Portobello is a warm, rich medium brown inspired by slow autumn days, cozy layers and long dinners around the table. It has the earthiness you want from a fall brown, but the warmth keeps it sophisticated rather than heavy.
Creamy, opaque and extremely easy to wear, it’s the kind of shade that suddenly makes your entire fall wardrobe make sense.
Camel coat? Portobello.
Chocolate suede? Portobello.
Cream knit? Definitely Portobello.
If you’ve been waiting to become a brown-nails person, this might be the one.
The mood: European dinner, leather boots, very good pasta.
Kalamata: olive, but make it mauve
Yes, Kalamata is named after the olive.
No, your nails will not be green.
Instead, we pulled from the beautiful dusky purple tones found in Kalamata olives to create a muted mauve that sits somewhere between neutral and colour.
It’s creamy, opaque and just moody enough. The kind of shade that feels completely at home with tights, ankle boots and a coat you’ve been waiting all summer to wear.
Not quite purple. Not quite brown. Not quite grey.
Exactly the point.
The mood: oversized blazer, dirty martini, 5 PM reservation.
Brownstone Red: meet your fall red
Every season deserves its red.
For FW26, ours is Brownstone Red, a warm brick red inspired by New York City brownstones in the fall.
Think tree-lined streets, golden afternoon light, red brick façades and that very specific October-in-New-York feeling. Its orange undertones give the shade warmth, while the creamy opaque finish keeps it polished and classic.
It’s red, but a little earthier. A little warmer. A little more fall.
The manicure equivalent of realizing your favourite coat still has a $20 bill in the pocket.
The mood: New York in October, trench coat, coffee to go.
Merlot: one glass, please
Some reds behave.
Merlot is not really interested.
Inspired by the soft, fruit-forward character of its namesake wine, this deep berry shade has a translucent jelly finish that lets light travel through the colour instead of sitting flat on the nail.
The result is juicy, dimensional and a little bit seductive.
It has all the richness you want from a dark fall manicure, but because it’s a jelly, it still feels fresh and vibrant. If an opaque burgundy sometimes feels too serious, Merlot is its much more fun dinner companion.

The mood: red wine, low lighting, dinner that turns into drinks.
Mercury: after dark
And then the sun goes down.
Mercury is the deepest shade of FW26, an aubergine inspired by the mystery and beauty of the night sky.
At first glance, it’s dark, rich and dramatic. Then the light hits.
A subtle warm-toned micro-shimmer runs through the colour, giving it just enough sparkle to make the manicure feel dimensional without turning it into full glitter territory.
It’s the shade we want once fall starts becoming winter, dinner reservations get later and holiday dressing quietly enters the conversation.
Deep. Chic. A little celestial.
The mood: velvet, candlelight, one more drink.
So, which FW26 shade are you?
If choosing one feels unnecessarily difficult, good. We did our job.
For the clean-nail loyalist: Lip Balm.
For the person whose fall wardrobe is 80% neutrals: Portobello.
For the one who wants a neutral, but never a boring one: Kalamata.
For the classic red manicure with an autumn upgrade: Brownstone Red.
For the jelly girl: Merlot.
For anyone who considers September the official beginning of dark-nail season: Mercury.
And if your answer is “all six,” the FW26 Collection Bundle has the complete palette in one place.
A little something for your hair, too
We couldn’t make a fall wardrobe for your nails and leave your hair out of it.
The FW26 GELCARE Hair Clips bring the collection’s rich, moody palette into one of our favourite manicure essentials. They’re designed to keep your hair out of the way while you paint, but looking cute on your bathroom counter certainly doesn’t hurt.
Consider it the finishing touch.
Fall, served six ways
FW26 is a little moody, a little indulgent and very ready for sweater weather.
Six colours. Three different kinds of finishes. Enough range to take you from the first cool September morning all the way into holiday season.
Start sheer with Lip Balm. Go earthy with Portobello and Kalamata. Warm things up with Brownstone Red. Pour yourself a Merlot. Then take Mercury out after dark.
Dinner is served.
The GELCARE FW26 Collection launches Thursday, September 17 at 12 PM EST.
